Blue Ivory Carter is red hot. First she made Billboard chart history. Now she's got a strain of marijuana named after her.
Just one week after the birth of Beyonce and Jay-Z's first child, Blue Ivy Carter, a strain of marijuana has poppped up bearing the baby's name. Several medical marijuana dispensaries in Hollywood are selling a strain called "OG Blue Ivy," reports TMZ.
The dispensaries didn't ask permission to use the name, but so far none of the dispensaries have received legal notice from the couple telling them otherwise, according to TMZ.
Blue Ivy was born Jan. 7 in New York. At five days old she became the youngest person ever to appear on the Billboard charts when Jay-Z's song Glory made its debut at No. 74 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The baby's cries can be heard in the background of the song.
