Performers for Britney Spears Tribute Released!

I want to start by saying how excited I am for this tribute, and then finish by saying haters are going to hate!!!

Now, with that being said, here is your list of performers:
1) Lady Gaga
2) Ke$ha
3) Katy Perry
4) Demi Lovato
5) Nicki Minaj
6) Janet Jackson
7) BRITNEY HERSELF!

That is one HELL of a line up, and I would just like to add one thing to the haters who don't know how to get there facts straight. MTV is honoring Britney because of the body of work she has brought to the VMA's over the last 15 years. Not because she was not planning on coming. She was planning on coming before the tribute was announced to her! So stop making up lie's because Lady Gaga is not getting her own tribute. She will have her time!

Amy Winehouse Tribute at the VMA's!

As expected, the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards will attribute a tribute to late British singer Amy Winehouse.
The legendary Tony Bennett, whose duet with Winehouse on “Body and Soul“—the final recording created prior to her death—appears on his upcoming Duets II, will have the honor of introducing the tribute.
The single and video will be released for acquire by Columbia Records Sept. 14,  which would have been Amy’s 28th birthday. Proceeds will help the Amy Winehouse Foundation established by the late singer’s family.
“It was a thrill to record with Amy Winehouse and when you listen to the recording of ‘Body and Soul, it is a testament to her artistic genius and her brilliance as 1 of the most sincere musicians I have ever recognized,” says Bennett in the statement.
Although MTV did not say what songs would be performed or who would be singing them, it’s safe to say that hits like “Rehab” and “You Know I’m No Good” will be a part of the set list. The VMAs will air live from Nokia Theater L.A. on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 9pm.

Lil Wayne being SUED for Stealing Music!

Lil Wayne rapped on stolen property -- at least according to another MC, who insists he's the rightful owner of the beat behind Weezy's "How to Love" ... and now, he's out for some legal vengeance.

Rapper Rich Rick filed the lawsuit earlier this week in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming he purchased several master recordings between 2006 and 2009 -- including the beat that now appears on "How to Love" -- from a group of rap producers called Drummer Boyz.

Rick claims the Drummer Boyz double-crossed him in November 2010 --  pitching the SAME beat to Lil Wayne ... and Weezy acquired it in exchange for a 35% royalty agreement, eventually using the beat on "How to Love."

The song's a hit -- and needless to say, Rick's royally pissed ... insisting the Drummer Boyz screwed him over.

Rick's suing Weezy, the Drummer Boyz, and others for everything from breach of contract to fraud -- demanding everything DB are entitled to under their agreement with Wayne ... plus 10% interest.
